RoofHeadsUp monitors public hail observations, applies each customer’s market and hail threshold, and turns qualifying events into alerts, street maps, and route-ready address workbooks.
The product principle
A weather layer is not yet a field plan.
Many storm tools are designed to help an expert study weather. RoofHeadsUp is designed for the next handoff: a roofing operator deciding whether to mobilize and a field rep deciding which streets to check first. That is why the core deliverable is a ranked workbook rather than another dashboard.
The narrower focus also creates boundaries. RoofHeadsUp does not claim to verify property damage, certify weather for an insurance claim, sell homeowner intent leads, or replace an on-site inspection.

Useful enough to check; honest enough to challenge.
Product comparisons
Founder bias is disclosed, free options come first, and competitors receive credit for capabilities RoofHeadsUp does not offer.
Public storm pages
Recent NOAA/NWS observations remain publicly browsable with conservative language about what a hail report can and cannot establish.
Original activity data
The Hail Activity Index separates individual observations from deduplicated storm areas and publishes its definitions.
Corrections
Material factual corrections are made in place and reflected in an article’s update history.
